The 2027 Rick Merluzzi Aluminum Extrusion Student Design Competition gives students the opportunity to put their creativity, innovation, and engineering skills to the test.

This year, $15,500 in scholarships will be awarded to innovative student designs!

Have a design that stands out? Enter the 2027 Rick Merluzzi Aluminum Extrusion Professional Design Competition and put your innovation in the spotlight.

Enter a product, component, system, or product assembly featuring at least one extruded aluminum profile and demonstrate the many advantages of aluminum extrusion.

Individual designers and companies are eligible to enter. Aluminum extruders and their customers are encouraged to team up and showcase innovative designs that highlight the versatility and benefits of aluminum extrusion.
