Today mom went to Chicago animal control to pass out treats and kisses to the dogs there waiting for rescue.

This is Holiday. She was shot by a police officer during an eviction. She was then sent to animal control where she sat with a shattered leg for months. She finally had her leg amputated and now she is looking for a home.

One Tail at a Time will take in Holiday if they can find either an adopter or a solid foster home. Holiday is very friendly but can be a little shy at first. She gets along with friendly/solid dogs. She will need some training and patience and someone committed to her.

UPDATE! HOLLY SIGHTING MORTON GROVE 12/22/13 MANSFIELD FOREST PRESERVE. We got a report of a sighing of Holly at Church and Mansfield tonight entering the Mansfield Forest Preserve. We fully believe that Holly is still in our area and in deep survival mode. Please keep looking for her, reporting any sightings and sharing her.
