We are thrilled to see the brand-new screen being installed at Liberty Elementary!

This exciting addition was made possible through a 2026 Liberty ISD Education Foundation Campus Grant, awarded to help enhance learning and engagement for LES students.

It's always rewarding to see grant dollars being put to work at our campuses and classrooms, creating new opportunities for both students and teachers. Thank you to everyone who supports the Liberty ISD Education Foundation, your generosity continues to make a lasting impact across our district!

The Liberty ISD Education Foundation was honored to serve as a Panther Sponsor for the first annual Trinity Valley Chamber of Commerce New Teacher Luncheon, celebrating and welcoming our newest Panther educators to Liberty Independent School District.

As part of this special event, the Liberty ISD Education Foundation was also proud to distribute $100 classroom gift cards to each new teacher through a generous grant provided by the Liberty Masonic Lodge. These funds will help our educators purchase classroom supplies and resources as they prepare for a successful school year.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like the Liberty Masonic Lodge and the Trinity Valley Chamber of Commerce, whose support demonstrates a shared commitment to investing in our teachers and students. Together, we are helping ensure our educators have the tools they need to make a lasting impact from day one.

We're excited to introduce Ross Ward, another new member of the Liberty ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors.

A proud Liberty High School graduate and lifelong Liberty resident, Ross has always believed in the power of community, teamwork, and service. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston, he built a successful career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, helping individuals, families, and business owners plan for their financial futures.

Ross also serves on the Liberty City Council, where he is committed to strengthening the community through responsible leadership and investing in Liberty's future.

Ross and his wife, Kora, an Assistant Principal with Dayton ISD, are raising their son, Parker, in the same community that shaped them. As a Liberty High School alumnus and future Liberty ISD parent, Ross understands the lasting impact a strong school district has on students, families, and the community.

Next, we're spotlighting Chelsea Hargrave, who joined the Liberty ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors in May 2026.

A lifelong Liberty resident, Chelsea is passionate about serving the community she proudly calls home. She and her husband, Denton Hargrave, are raising their three children, Aria (10), Evie (9), Camryn (1), and are excited to welcome a baby boy later this year.

Chelsea has a heart for volunteering and supporting local students. Since 2023, she has served as Secretary of the Liberty Elementary School PTO and as Assistant Commissioner for Liberty Youth Cheer. She has also spent countless hours coaching and assisting with T-ball, basketball, cheer, and soccer, always looking for ways to encourage and invest in young people.

Chelsea is excited to continue making a difference through the Liberty ISD Education Foundation.
