As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we’d like to once again thank all of the wonderful people that work & volunteer at Manor Hill. Our kids are so lucky to have such a dedicated group of individuals invested in their futures!

Today’s theme was “Be Stubborn” and every staff member took home a stubborn succulent & enjoyed a candy bar full of stubborn sweets. We love being able to recognize the staff at MH & appreciate everyone that donated time, money &/or items to make this week a success!

Our inspiration yesterday was “Lead with Passion” so passion fruit & it’s fruit relatives took center stage. Staff enjoyed a yogurt parfait breakfast in the morning & had their choice of fruity mocktails in the afternoon. Thank you for being passionate about teaching our kids!

“Believe in the Impossible” was yesterday’s inspiration, so we celebrated our staff Ted Lasso style with Slap's BBQ & British biscuits. Such a fun day!
Fun fact: The owners of Slap’s are Manor Hill alums. Small world!

Don’t forget Muffins with Moms tomorrow in the MH gym from 7-7:30am. It’s going to be a packed house & we can’t wait to celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers & other influential figures in our kids’ lives!

Staff Appreciation Week is in full force & PTA has a fun week planned for our amazing educators. Our MH staff recently attended a Professional Development course & a few take-away phrases are the inspirations behind each daily theme. Thanks to everyone that donated items/food to make this week a success!

Our next PTA meeting is tomorrow night (3/8) at 7pm in the MH library. Our very own Dallas Ackerman will be presenting info about the No-Tax Increase Bond Issue and Levy Transfer. We’ll also be discussing our end-of-year plans & start discussing items for next year.

Way to finish strong, Manor Hill! Our students officially read across the nation & we exceeded our goal! Over $14,000 was raised & over 78,000 minutes were logged (see email for exact details). Thank you to everyone that promoted, donated & participated in our Read-A-Thon. We couldn’t have done it without you!
