TIME magazine has named William Jewell College as one of the top 500 colleges in the nation for 2026-2027. Standing at number 141, Jewell scored high in student outcomes, attractiveness and learning environment. TIME states that their scoring system "retains classical components used in higher education assessments, such as the instructional environment and institutional resources, while placing particular emphasis on what students gain from attending an institution relative to its cost."
