Horse Awareness Week:
September 14-21, 2026

Horse Awareness Week 2026 is a unified, welfare‑led, globally collaborative celebration that honours horses as sentient partners and centres ethical, inclusive equine‑assisted practice. Through daily themes, seasonal intelligence rituals, lived experience stories, and sector‑wide collaboration, the week creates a rhythm of attunement, learning, transformation, and reflection — strengthening the future of the field while keeping horses at the heart of everything.

Today, day 1, we acknowledge our connection to seasonal changes that bring rhythm to our work...the horses change...I am grateful for this wonderful season of depth, light and change.

It is always a wonderful gift to see our horses be so gentle with small children...2 years old...the horses understand that pure heart very clearly and are very careful and hyper perceptive around these children. Today was no different. They were all extremely happy to welcome our little

It is sort of difficult to describe to you the feeling you get when a horse comes over to you, and says, it is really good to see you...it has been a while!! It was that kind of a day yesterday. Moon missed these "girls" and had to tell them all about it❣️
Please note: they were cutting diwn trees across the street and Moon got slightly distracted a couple of times🙃.

July 29 is International EAS (Equine assisted Services) Day...a day to appreciate that horses serve their human counterparts in a myriad of ways, many of them in a non-riding capacity. Open your heart and mind to horse assisted services, NOT therapy. Your life will be forever changed for the better🐎
