We celebrated Kristi’s 50th birthday with a special dinner at Cattleman’s! ❤️

Kristi has such a servant’s heart. You can always find her faithfully serving and often she is dedicated to making sure the dishes get washed!

It was especially meaningful to celebrate at Cattleman’s, where Mara, who grew up at the Galilean Home, is now the manager. She was such a gracious and lovely host for Kristi’s birthday. ☺️

Mara & Kristi are both daughters of Jerry and Sandy Tucker, making this a beautiful family celebration.

Happy 50th birthday, Kristi! We love you!

Happy Heavenly Birthday to our founder, Jerry Tucker, Dad, Papa Oso, Papaw. 🦅🤍

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Jerry Tucker. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, & founder of Galilean Home Ministries.

Papa Oso was a man loved deeply and lived with purpose.

As a husband, he shared a life of faith, sacrifice, and devotion with his beloved Sandy.

As a father & grandfather, he gave his family a foundation of love, strength, and unwavering support.

As a friend, he made people feel seen, welcomed, & cared for.

And as the founder of the Galilean Home, Jerry opened not only his home, but his heart, to children and adults who needed a family, a safe place, & someone willing to say “yes”. His life was a testimony to what can happen when one person faithfully answers God’s call.

Though our hearts miss his presence & we wish we could celebrate with him here, we are grateful for the years we were given, the memories we hold, & the countless lives changed because of him and Sandy’s obedience, love and care.

Happy Birthday, Papa Oso.

We love you, we miss you deeply, and we are honored to carry forward the legacy you and Mom (Sandy) began.

Your beautiful life continues to make a difference here.

Until we meet again. 🤍

In 1984, when George was just 14 years old, Sandy and Jerry Tucker welcomed him into their home.

Home has always held a special place in his heart. ❤️

George is a true homebody, happiest when he’s surrounded by the people and places he loves. He’s also one of our sweetest greeters, often being the first to say hello with a warm, “My friend!”

He loves helping the mailman, enjoys a good McDonald’s meal, and never forgets the kindness people show him. Every card, thoughtful gesture, and birthday wish means so much to George and he appreciates each one more than words can say.

Happy birthday, George! We are so grateful for the joy, kindness, and friendship you bring to all of us.

We love you! ❤️
