🏫 WELCOME BACK, CASEY COUNTY SCHOOLS!

Tomorrow, Monday, August 24, 2026, marks the first official student day of the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our students back and begin another great year at Casey County Schools.

🚪 Doors open at 7:20 a.m. at all schools.

🚌 As school begins, please use extra caution around school buses and school zones. Watch for students loading and unloading, obey bus stop arms, and plan for heavier traffic around our schools during arrival and dismissal. A little extra time and patience will help keep everyone safe.

🥛🍎 Remember: ALL students receive ONE FREE BREAKFAST and ONE FREE LUNCH each school day! Encourage your child to enjoy breakfast and lunch at school to stay fueled and ready to learn!

We are thankful to serve our students and families. Supportive families and consistent school attendance are two of the strongest foundations for student success. This partnership is at the heart of our mission:

A few reminders if you are dropping off or picking up your little Wildcats:
-Please follow the map attached, do not enter the driveway from College St. or Montgomery St.
-Please remain behind the pole by Kids Team trailer until 2:40. It is not safe for kids to walk through cars when coming in from recess at the end of the day.
-All parent pick ups are done through driveway line.
-You need a Car Rider tag to pick up in the line- you can get those in the office.
-The buses have priority, please do not block either driveway behind the school or the curve where Beldon meets Montgomery- you guys did AWESOME at this last year!!!!!!
-Be mindful of homeowners trying to get in and out of their drives.
-Pick ups are from 2:45-3:10. We can arrange for bus transportation if needed.
-Make sure your car tag is displayed on rear view mirror.

Thank you Wildcat families for building good habits in your students so they can be successful in school and in other things later in life. Here is a schedule of all the days students have off and could go to appointments to help you with planning. Wildcats are busy learning all day, being punctual and having great attendance is necessary for an optimal school experience, and you know that! Thank you so much!!!!
