Galilean Christian Academy The Galilean Christian Academy is on the campus of the Galilean Children's home and is a full PreK-1 With graduates in fields ranging from the U.S.

In 1987, Galilean Home Ministries began the Galilean Christian Academy as an alternative to public school for the residents of the Children’s Home and children of its staff. Today, we enroll 60 students from around central Kentucky and now provide transportation from Casey, Pulaski and Russell Counties. GCA has the facilities to accommodate over 40 boarding students, in addition to the current enr

ollment, with unique opportunities to serve. In addition to multiple arms of ministry on our own campus, our community outreach group, “LIVING FourTen,” tirelessly looks for ways to impact our area and beyond. Our Academy, PreK-12, is accredited though Alpha Omega Curriculum. Alpha Omega is a proven, trusted curriculum founded by teachers and educators dedicated to providing strong Christian values while promoting academic excellence. As a compliment to this curriculum, a small teacher-to-student ratio highlights a wide range of benefits to being part of the GCA family. Military to Emergency Medical, our students are encouraged to pursue their true passion and are prepared to train in their field of choice whether it be through college or on the job. With Christian education, community service and athletics - Galilean Christian Academy is a small school with a big impact.

🐸 Ready, set... HOP! 🏁

GCA's 28th Annual Frog Contest was another great day filled with lots of laughter, excitement, and a little friendly competition! Students brought their frogs ready to race, while others cheered them on from the sidelines.

Awards were given for the Smallest, Biggest, Fastest, and Best Dressed Frogs and everyone loved seeing the unique contestants hop into the spotlight.

Our Kindergarten class spent the week learning all about the frog life cycle and wrapped it up with a fun themed lunch featuring "cattails" (corn dogs) and "pond water" (blue Kool-Aid with Swedish Fish). 🐟💙

Whether they were racing a frog, cheering for a friend, or learning about these amazing amphibians, it was a day full of smiles and memories.

Here's to 28 years of one of GCA's favorite traditions! 💚🐸

What an incredible first week at Galilean Christian Academy!

Our halls are full, our classrooms are busy, and our hearts are grateful as we begin another school year together. Seeing students reconnect with friends, meet new teachers, and jump right into learning has been a blessing.

Thank you to our families, staff, volunteers, and supporters who help make GCA such a special place. We are excited to see all that God has in store for this school year.

Open enrollment is still underway at Galilean Christian Academy! If you’ve been looking for a place where your child can truly grow—not just academically, but spiritually and personally—GCA is a place worth considering.

🎓 Class of 2026 – Galilean Christian Academy 🎓

Today, we celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026—a milestone that reflected years of growth, perseverance, and faith. It has been a joy to watch these students mature in both knowledge and their walk with Christ.

As they stepped into their next chapters, we were reminded that God has a unique purpose for each of them (Jeremiah 29:11). They leave as graduates and as witnesses of Christ, ready to shine His light in the world.

Galilean Christian Academy warmly invites you to celebrate a special day of achievement for our students!

🏅 GCA Awards Ceremony (PreK–12th Grade & GRACE Program): Immediately following graduation

Join us as we honor our youngest learners during graduation and then celebrate the accomplishments of all GCA students, PreK through 12th grade, along with our GRACE Program, during the awards ceremony.
