📚✨ Favorite Book Character Day was one for the books!

Today our classrooms were filled with imagination, storytelling, dramatic play, and lots of smiles. Watching our teachers bring beloved characters to life reminds us that a love of reading begins long before children learn to read.

Every story read, every page turned, and every tea party inspired by a favorite book helps build the foundation for lifelong learning. ❤️

If anyone needs us, we’ll be over here finding balloons in random places for the next six months. 🎈😂

Summer Program was in full swing this week! We made puppets, played with LOTS of balloons, and even made our own fruit salad for lunch. 🍓🍌🍇

One of our favorite moments was watching the kids prepare their own fruit. Even our toddlers got involved! Activities like cutting fruit, peeling, scooping, and mixing help strengthen the little hand muscles they’ll eventually use for writing, coloring, buttoning coats, and so many other important skills.

The best part? The kids just think they’re playing.

Around here, we know that some of the biggest learning happens when children are laughing, creating, exploring, and getting their hands a little messy.

And judging by the amount of balloons, fruit, and excitement this week… I’d say we nailed it. ❤️☀️
