Saw this ad, and it gives a pretty good explanation about forbearance under the cares act. HOWEVER, they make it sound like the only solution is to sell to an investor in order to free yourself from that mortgage. What they don't tell you is the offer they give you is minus the expenses they will incur to fix things and the commission plus closing costs on the eventual sale after they update everything.
They also don't mention any and all alternatives. So, moral of this story is talk to your local Realtor or just shoot me your questions if you have been affected economically by the pandemic. I will give you the whole story.
