Congratulations to our first Fintastic staff members of the year, Ms. Spedding and Miss Schemmel!

Ms. Spedding is so deserving of the Fin-Tastic award! Ms. Spedding is an exceptional teacher who exemplifies what it means to make a lasting difference in the lives of students. She has the remarkable ability to build authentic, positive relationships with students that continue even after they leave her class. She works behind the scenes to create meaningful opportunities for both students and staff to feel connected. She is a creative thinker who creates fun activities for students and staff. Her heart for others, positive energy, and willingness to go the extra mile make a lasting impact on the entire Schumacher family.

I am nominating Miss Schemmel for the Fin-Tastic Award! Miss Schemmel makes learning SO fun and truly cares about each of her students. This year, my students filled out a questionnaire, and several of them listed Miss Schemmel as their safe person. This speaks volumes of her character! She also wears many hats and balances many things that help keep our staff organized, updated, and encouraged. Thank you Miss Schemmel for all that you do!
