The demand within the Liberty (MO) community for high quality early childhood education programs continues to increase not only in response to the growing demand for out-of-home child care but also in recognition of the critical importance of educational experiences during the early years. Several decades of research clearly demonstrate that high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood programs produce short- and long-term positive effects on children's cognitive and social development. Purpose
We want to help raise awareness among Liberty's parents, families, professionals, and community leaders of the importance of school readiness, the need for quality early learning opportunities, and the role of family and early childhood programs. Beliefs
We, the families & citizens of Liberty (MO), should invest now in our children and families and enjoy long-term savings, with a more vibrant community of healthy, achieving children and more stable families. We, the families & citizens of Liberty (MO), share in the responsibility of ensuring the education & well-being of the children and families within the community. We, the families & citizens of Liberty (MO), need to work together to build a successful future for our youngest children. We, the families & citizens of Liberty (MO), can and must do better to create opportunities that help all children and families succeed. All young children within the Liberty (MO) community deserve to attend an excellent, high quality early education program. These early education programs should be accessible to all Liberty families. Expanding access to high quality early education for all children in the Liberty School District must be a priority because, for your child and every child, Success Starts Early!
