Where does the time go? Hold tight to your babies, they grow up so fast! This was taken 3 years ago!

To you, this is just an acorn. Plain and simple. Something to discard.

To the boy that gifted it to me, it’s a rare treasure; a highly sought after gem. When he gave this to me, his eyes were bright, his smile was full of pride, and his heart was pure as gold.
To me, this is a precious gift. A gift given from a purest heart.

When a little one hands you a rock, acorn, flower, or w**d, know that they are giving you something from the heart. So please don’t toss it away so quickly. Take the time to thank them and appreciate the little gestures from a toddler’s heart.
