VFW Post 4043

Reminder there will be a short POW/MIA ceremony @ 10:00 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 26th prior to the beginning of the Liberty Fall festival parade. It will take place on the (old) courthouse steps. Come on out and show your support.

Now is the time to become involved in the local community. VFW Post 4043 is truly committed to the community and its veterans. August and September are shaping up to be a couple of busy months. Be watching the local media for Crossfit 816 event. Also in August we will be involved in an event at Liberty North High School. Coming up September 25t thru 27th is the Liberty Fall Festival. There will be a POW/MIA ceremony @ 10:00 a.m. on the 26th (Sat.) on the old courthouse steps. The parade begins at 11:00. We will have a booth on the square this year again on the southwest corner during the fall festival. Come by and see us.

Post meeting this Thursday August 6th @ 7:30 p.m. Glenaire clubhouse.

Awesome job VFW Post 4043!!! Buddy Poppy's went great on Saturday morning. We beat the rain and talked to a lot of veterans and even a lot of interesting stories from non vets with a lot of support for the VFW mission. Monday morning at the wreath laying ceremony was another awesome display of true patriotism. The rifle team was in some awesome rhythm. Thank You to those who came out and supported. If you are a combat vet and thinking about becoming a member of the VFW or would like to learn more about our mission, come on out. Would enjoy seeing some new faces.

Apparently dinner plans have changed for Thursday 5-21. Now 6:00 p.m. at Conrads, Liberty.
