Another favorite Liberty FFA Tradition continued this weekend - Illinois State Forestry CDE!

Yesterday we traveled to Giant City Park just outside of Carbondale, IL to practice timber cruising, tree ID, and reading azimuth compasses. When practice was over, we hiked the Nature Trail in the Park and visited the water tower.

Today, 5 high school and 4 junior high members competed in the State Forestry Contest. We will find out the results later today! Stay tuned!
