Preschool Lil' Friends of the Library Preschool program provides a Christian based atmosphere conductive to learning through structured play.

It is our goal to help children develop healthy personalities, form values, feelings and attitudes that form the foundation for a positive self-image and good relationships.

We are excited to get the school year started

Reminder of our Back to School night tomorrow, August 31 at 6:30.
Doors will open at 6:15. The only door open will be the door facing Seminary Street.
Bring your supplies, we’ll chat about the school year then you’ll have the chance to meet your teacher and visit your classroom.
If you have any paperwork you need to turn in, bring it also.

Today, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Christine Volz as she steps down from her role as Director of Lil’ Friends of the Library Preschool.

Christine has faithfully served our preschool with dedication, kindness, and a genuine love for our children and families. We are so thankful for her leadership and the lasting impact she has made. Please join us in wishing Christine all the best as she begins this next chapter!

At the same time, we are excited to welcome Chrissy Burroughs as our new Preschool Director!

Chrissy has been a valued part of the Lil’ Friends family for the past 14 years, and her passion for early childhood education, her experience, and her love for our students make her a wonderful fit to lead our preschool into another exciting school year. In addition to serving as Director, she will also continue teaching our morning preschool class.

We are incredibly grateful for both Christine and Chrissy and look forward to all that this new season has in store. Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and making wonderful memories together at Lil’ Friends of the Library Preschool! ❤️📚

Here is our Supply List. Be on the lookout for letters to be arriving the beginning of August. In this letter you’ll receive this supply list, who your teacher will be and information on our Orientation night.

🌿✝️ Holy Week at Preschool ✝️🌿

This week, our preschoolers are learning about the meaning of Holy Week through hands-on activities, crafts, and simple Bible stories. From Palm Sunday to the joy of Easter, we’re helping little hearts understand God’s love in a meaningful way. 💛

Lil’ Friends Preschool had a special donation today.

One of our soon to be students was gifted some money and was challenged to use that money to buy something for an organization she chose. This sweet girl chose Lil Friends Preschool.

With her donation, she bought paper towels, disinfectant wipes, Kleenex, hand soap, small cups and play-doh.

These items will be put to great use. Thank you for your generous donation ❤️

At Lil’ Friends Preschool we have a Faith Based curriculum. Each week we study a Bible story focusing on the letter of the week.

This week we learned about the letter Jj and about Joseph and his colorful coat! Through this story, we’re reminded that God made each of us special and has a plan for our lives. This is from Genesis 37-50.
