You’ll never guess what I manifested…

A pair of giant gardening shears.

I know. Not exactly the mystical sign most people imagine.

But this moment stopped me in my tracks because it reminded me how much our nervous systems are shaped by pressure, urgency, control, and the quiet need to feel supported.

This article is about letting go of the grip a little. Not abandoning responsibility. Not pretending everything is magic. But creating enough openness to notice the moments that remind us we don’t have to carry everything alone.

Sometimes healing looks like a deep breath.
Sometimes it looks like laughter.
And sometimes…it apparently looks like garden shears in the middle of the road.

What’s funny is… this whole thing actually started because I just wanted to make a hormone and mood tracker.

I wanted women and cycling bodies to have something simple they could bring to their providers to help explain the patterns they were noticing in their mood, sleep, energy, anxiety, appetite, pain, focus, and emotions.

And somewhere along the way… I accidentally stumbled into writing a whole book. 🌙

Seeing people at the launch today holding Mood & Moon in their hands felt surreal. What started as a tiny idea to help people track patterns turned into conversations, workshops, tears, validation, and people realizing maybe their bodies were never “random” after all.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported me, shared posts, bought books, and believed in this message. This truly means more to me than I can explain. 🤍

Come celebrate with me this Saturday, May 16th, for the launch of my book Mood & Moon: A Body-Led Guide to Cycling Bodies at Sacred Creations in downtown Liberty ✨

This project started with one simple goal: helping women better understand their bodies, hormones, mood shifts, energy, sleep, and patterns without shame. Watching it grow from an idea into an actual book still feels surreal.

We’ll have books available, conversation, connection, and a short mini class during the event. Whether you’ve followed this journey from the beginning or are just now finding this work, I’d love to see you there.

When we don’t understand the patterns in our bodies, it’s easy to assume that the changes we experience are something we should be able to “manage better.”
