My toxic trait is thinking I need to sell everything I create. I was making some name tracing and coloring sheets for my son just because, and then a few days later I put them on Etsy... lol I might have a problem, I couldn't help it. My husband keeps teasing me saying not everything needs to be a business. Lol I might be a lost cause🤦‍♀️

Thought I’d save everyone a few questions.

The number of people who’ve looked completely shocked when I say I’m due September 9 has been… interesting. 😂 Apparently I look like I could have this baby any minute now.

I even had a sweet old lady in the check out line saying with White eyes when she found out my due date “oh honey you’re not gonna make it!”

Now it’s your turn… what’s the funniest (or most ridiculous) thing someone asked or said to you while you were pregnant?

For months, I felt like I needed to come up with a backup plan. Then the orders started coming in.

This spring was stressful. Orders had slowed down, and I was starting to wonder if continuing to sell stickers still made sense.

With a new baby coming in September, I was feeling even more pressure to figure out how I could help bring in extra income for our family. I found myself frantically looking for other options while also praying for God to show me what my next step should be.

Was I supposed to keep putting my time and energy into Little Traveling Llama? Was it time to focus on something else? I honestly didn’t know.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the orders started flooding in.

In the span of just two weeks, I received 21+ orders and sold 536 stickers between Faire and Etsy.

After months of questioning whether this little business could continue to help support my family, I suddenly found myself surrounded by orders to pack. I definitely cried, although that could have been the pregnancy hormones lol. 🥹 Either way, I’m so incredibly grateful and feeling motivated to keep going.

I still don’t know exactly what the future of this business will look like, but right now, I’m thankful for this reminder that so much can change in such a short time.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased a sticker, placed a wholesale order, shared one of my posts, left a comment, or told someone about my little shop. Every bit of support means more than you probably realize, not only to me, but to my family too. ❤️

There’s a reason I started laughing instead of crying.

A couple weeks ago, Andrew and his cousin were both getting over the same bug, so instead of keeping two cranky little boys cooped up at home, my sister-in-law and I decided to let them have a playdate together.

The boys had the BEST time.

Which, of course, meant Andrew was absolutely not ready to leave. The ride home was… rough. To stay calm and help drown out the screaming I turned on the radio.

I was honestly about ready to cry myself when Trace Adkins’ You’re Gonna Miss This came on.

I just started laughing. Of all of the songs to come on it had to be that one. The timing couldn’t have been more ironic.

Don’t get me wrong… I’m going to miss so much about these little years.

The cuddles.
The imagination.
The little voice that calls me “Mama.”

But a screaming ride home after a playdate?

Yeah… probably not that part. 😂

And yes… the guineas were taking their sweet time in the middle of the road somehow made the whole thing even funnier.

If you’re in the thick of the toddler years too, just know you’re not alone. ❤️

A lot of you found me through one little tractor ride… so I thought I should introduce myself.

I’m Paige, a graphic designer, wife, mama 🦋, national park lover, and the person behind Little Traveling Llama.

Most days, I’m trying to build a business from home while keeping up with a very busy three-year-old and getting ready to welcome another little boy. I make stickers, design websites, create coloring books and planners, and usually have at least 10 more ideas floating around in my head.

But this page isn’t just about the things I make. It’s about creativity, real life, motherhood, and slowing down enough to notice the little moments before they become memories.

So yeah… I make a lot of things, but mostly I’m just trying to build a life I don’t want to rush through. 💕

Last week was hard…

Andrew has been sick, I haven’t slept much, my house is a mess, and my to-do list is about a mile long.

But the weather finally cooled off.

While he was playing outside, Andrew wandered over and climbed into the hammock with me for cuddles. He decided my very pregnant belly made the perfect pillow. 😂 (He’s lucky his little brother was feeling calm and didn’t kick him in the head!)

We sat there for over 30 minutes doing absolutely nothing. Which if you know anything about my son it is rare to get cuddles for that long.

It ended up being one of my favorite moments of the whole week.

Laundry can wait.
Emails can wait.
These moments can’t. ❤️

My dad stopped by to mow the field next to our house today, and Andrew got an unexpected tractor ride. 🥹 I don’t know who was more excited… him or Grandpa (lol or us if I’m being honest)

I love that my son is getting a little taste of my own childhood. These random little moments are the ones know he will remember. ❤️
