We have a co-operative agreement for swimming and diving with Cheney High School. Swimmers and divers practice and travel with the Cheney High School team at EWU and compete as Ridgeline. Students need to complete Final Forms for both Cheney High School and Ridgeline High School, as well as paying ASB fees at both schools in order to participate. Girls swimming and diving season is fall, starting August 24, and boys are in the winter, starting Nov. 17. Swimmers and divers are responsible for their own transportation to practice. The countdown is on, Falcons! 🦅 and we cannot wait to see you back in the building.

We will be doing a staggered start on our first day of school, Wednesday, August 26th. Freshman ONLY will be here for 1st period, at our regular start time. All other students will arrive for lunch/afternoon classes.

Busses will run during their regular a.m. route, AND they will begin their 2nd route at 10am for all other bus riders coming during the later start time. Parent drop-off and student drivers should arrive at the appropriate time.

📅 2026–2027 Schedules & Schedule Change Event

Due to staffing/budget constraints, some schedules may differ from expectations. Counseling will host a Schedule Change Event for 1st semester concerns only (wrong course placement, incomplete schedule, level changes if space allows):

🗓️ Thursday, Aug 20 | 3:00–6:00 PM | RHS Commons
🤍If you are new to Ridgeline or returning and you just want to rehearse your schedule, you are invited to come by anytime between 3-6pm for Guided Tours from our Falcon Link Crew!

⚠️ Elective changes may not be possible due to limited space. No changes will be made before Aug 20 @ 3:00 PM.

Can't attend? A Google Form opens Aug 20 at 6:00 PM (details to follow).

After school starts: Limited change requests accepted Aug 26–27 only. For 2nd semester changes, meet with your counselor Oct 1–Jan 22.

Schedules will be available on Powerschool TODAY, August 19th at 3pm!

If you are new to Ridgeline or returning and you just want to rehearse your schedule, our Falcon Link Crew Leaders will be available to provide guided tours and help walk through schedules. Come by anytime between 3-6pm on Thursday, August 20th.

Reminder: All incoming freshmen will have their full orientation on the first day of school in the morning!
