The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is looking for new members for the 2026-27 school year.

By addressing nutrition, physical activity, health education, and substance abuse prevention in a variety of ways and for a variety of audiences, SHAC hopes to raise awareness and build the skills needed for LHISD students to live a healthy life.

Wranglers, here are just some Back to School Tips from our amazing Nurse, Nurse Wallace!

Wrangler nation!
We had an amazing day at Legacy Ranch Middle. Arrival was quick, and students were excited for their new school and new school year!

Lunches were smooth. Students were respectful and took care of the school by keeping their space clean.

Finally, we were able to get everyone home safely. Parents did an excellent job navigating the theme park like car pick-up line and we were able to clear it in less than 30 minutes.

We can’t wait to get better on day two!

School starts tomorrow!

We are so excited to see you and get the school year started.

Wranglers, a couple of last minute reminders:
1. Get a good night sleep! Waking up early can be tough
2. Be sure to know how you are getting home
3. Know your ID number because it is also your bus and lunch number
4. Remember, it is the first day for all students at LRMS, and it is ok to be nervous. LRMS staff will be there to help you find where you need to go, help you learn the school, and be their to support you!
