Our playground was full of excitement today as the kids crawled through tunnels, jumped over hurdles, and waited patiently for their turn to take on the course. There were lots of cheers, big smiles, and plenty of "Can I go again?" by the end!

It was fun watching everyone encourage their friends and celebrate each other as they made it through. We definitely have some little obstacle course champions in the making!

What a great day to burn some energy and enjoy being outside.

SHINE Conference 2026

Several of our teachers had the opportunity to attend the SHINE Conference! It was a full day of learning, collaborating with other early childhood educators, and bringing back new ideas that will benefit our classrooms.

The sessions covered topics like positive behavior guidance, social-emotional learning, and creating meaningful experiences for young children. I love that our teachers are always willing to learn and grow because it helps us continue providing the best possible care and education for the children at Hilltop.

Thank you to our amazing team for taking the time to invest in yourselves and in our school. We can't wait to start using some of these new ideas with our children!

Now Enrolling!

Today started with a bin of blocks, but it quickly became something much bigger. Ideas were shared. Towers grew. Pieces were passed from one friend to another. When one child's plan didn't work, another stepped in with a new idea. Before long, it wasn't my tower or your tower- it became a team creation.
At Hilltop, we love watching friendships take shape one block at a time.

There's something special about watching children create together.

Our little builders teamed up to design their very own car wash using wooden blocks and their imaginations. What started as a simple idea quickly became a collaborative project filled with planning, problem solving, and teamwork.

At Hilltop Children's Center, we believe in providing children with meaningful opportunities to explore, create, and learn alongside their friends. It's amazing to see what they can accomplish when they're given the time, space, and encouragement to think big.

Today our toddlers explored what farm animals eat and how they are cared for. They learned that different animals eat different foods like hay, grass, and corn.

We are officially counting down the days until SHINE 2026!

Our teachers are so excited for a day filled with learning, inspiration, and connecting with other amazing educators. We love bringing back fresh ideas to our classrooms, and SHINE is always one of our favorite opportunities to grow together.

We can't wait to see what this year's conference has in store!
