This summer, cheerleaders from Liberty Hill Middle School, Santa Rita Middle School, and the new Legacy Ranch Middle School came together at Universal Cheerleaders Association camp at Texas State University—and showed what it truly means to be part of one Liberty Hill community.

Although the squads represented different campuses, they celebrated one another’s successes, encouraged each other through challenges, and strengthened friendships that began years ago through youth sports, church, travel teams and community activities.

What a great night at Panther Stadium!

Due to continued weather, the remainder of tonight’s game against Killeen has been canceled. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Panthers and stuck with us through the weather.

The night also gave us a special moment to remember. After 16 months apart, U.S. Army Private First Class and Liberty Hill High School graduate Kayden Brooks returned to Liberty Hill and surprised his younger sister on the field!

We’re grateful we got to share such a special reunion with Kayden, his family, and Panther Nation.

Thank you for a great night, Panthers!

Football season is here, and we’re excited to welcome our Panther and Wrangler communities to our stadiums this week!

As Liberty Hill High School and Legacy Ranch High School prepare for football events Thursday and Friday, we want to share a few annual reminders to help everyone enjoy a safe and positive game-day experience:

- LHISD’s Clear Bag Policy is in effect for all home athletic events. Please review the graphic before arriving to ensure your bag meets district requirements.
- All carried items are subject to inspection.
- Please follow all posted stadium rules and directions from event staff.
- Plan ahead and allow additional time for parking, entry and security procedures.
- For campus-specific information, including parking, traffic flow, ticketing and other game-day logistics, please visit your respective high school’s social media pages.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to help make our stadiums safe, welcoming environments for our students, families and community.

We look forward to seeing Panther Nation and Wrangler Nation under the Friday night lights!

This road closure may impact travel to and from schools tomorrow through the end of this week. Please plan for extra time and look for alternate routes if you're in the area. Be safe out there!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

CR 213 will be closed from Hwy 29 to Sandstone Dr. August 25–28, from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. each day.

City crews will be clearing undergrowth and small trees from the right-of-way. The closure is necessary to keep both crews and drivers safe while equipment is in use.

Please plan for an alternate route during these hours, and thank you for your patience while our crews complete this maintenance!

Liberty Hill ISD is excited to partner with The Liberty Hill Independent to bring you stories written by LHISD student interns starting with the new senior painted parking spots at Liberty Hill High School, written by Julieanne Jones.

This new tradition gives seniors a chance to express their personalities, memories and hobbies while also leaving their little mark on the school. Instead of arriving at ordinary parking spots, students and visitors can see bright colors, unique designs and personal artwork throughout the parking lot.
