Week two, let's go! Our Glow Run is coming up this week. 🦸

Our students have already unlocked three superpowers: Steady, Uplifter, and Purpose. This week they add Extra Mile, Reliable, and HERO to the lineup, and then everything comes together on event day.

Superpower activated: Uplifter. 🌟

Today our students learned that real heroes don't try to be the only one shining. They raise the energy of the whole room. Being an Uplifter means being genuinely excited for someone else's win, even when it's not your turn. It means making the people around you feel valued, not just seen.

They also gave their teachers a big shoutout today, because not all Super Heroes wear capes. 💛

Their leadership challenge: find three different people today and say or do something that lifts them up. A kind word, a high five, a thank you. If your student comes home and lifts YOU up tonight, that's the Uplifter in action.

To commemorate National Potato Day, 3rd graders created “Potato Pets” and wrote about them! Nothing like a good starch to get the creativity flowing! 🥔

First superpower unlocked: Steady. 🛡️

Today our students learned their Super Hero breath: breathe in like you're smelling a flower, breathe out like you're blowing out a candle. It sounds simple, but it's how heroes stay calm and strong on the inside even when things feel out of control on the outside. The big question they're carrying with them today: "Am I using my power, or is my power using me?"

Their leadership challenge is to use their Super Hero breath three times today and then teach it to someone at home tonight. So if your student grabs you after school and asks you to smell a flower and blow out a candle, you'll know why. 💛

The pep rally was AMAZING and our students are officially in super hero mode. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Apex Super Heroes is underway and pledging is now open!

Here's how to support our school: When pledging opens, log in to myapexevent.com with your child’s access code or scan the QR code which can be found on their VIP Badge.

Personalize your child’s page by adding a picture or video, then share to invite friends and family to donate to help Tierra Rosa Elementary.

Make a flat donation OR pledge a dollar amount per lap that your child completes at the Glow Run event.

Every pledge helps raise funds for Student Incentives, Teacher Appreciation and Campus and Community Events. Let's do this! 💛

Tomorrow, every student in this building will start their journey to unleash the super hero within themselves 🦸

Our Apex Super Heroes Pep Rally with is tomorrow, and it's the start of two incredible weeks of leadership and fundraising. The energy on campus is about to be unreal.

After the rally, pledging opens up! Students will bring home a VIP Badge with their login info for myapexevent.com.

Hero training starts tomorrow. We're ready. 💛
