The Liberty Center Band Program is comprised of courses in Beginning Band (5th grade), Intermediate Band (6th Grade), Advanced Band (7/8th Grade), marching band, Wind Symphony (HS Concert Band), Percussion Ensemble, pep band, music theory and appreciation, and the musical pit orchestra. The most visible aspect of our program, the Tiger Marching Band, has been a source of community pride for decade
s. Maintaining its roots in the show band style, the Tiger Marching Band performs entertaining halftime productions at all football games as well as several showcase performances at parades, show band festivals, and other community events. A staple performance of the Tiger Band is our annual Homecoming Performance featuring our current marching band members, 7/8th grade band, and LC band alumni performing community favorite, "Barbara Ann!"
The Wind Symphony is the high school concert band portion of our program. Performing literature in OMEA Class C, the Wind Symphony has performed a variety of concerts including recently earning "Excellent" and "Good" ratings at OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event.
