The Southeast Warren FFA Chapter started their annual Fruit Sales yesterday. This year we have online orders. To order go to www.4sns.com, click on SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner, Select: Liberty Center Iowa then Southeast Warren FFA, next enter the students name you wish your order to go towards and enter their name in all caps, finally shop to support your student. Fruit Sales end October 24.

Congratulations to Conner Bregar on placing 1st place in Swine judging and 9th place individual at the State Livestock Contest on August 27.

The chapter had their first annual community BBQ. It was a great success. We had around 70 people came out for food, games, to talk with members of the Chapter.

The FFA chapter helped with the Warren County Farm Tour on August 28. Chapter Members grilled pork burgers and hot dogs and served people visiting the Annett Nature Center on the Tour. The chapter made approximately $200. A big thanks to the Warren County Pork Producers for donating the meat and allowing us to use their grill

We had our annual meeting last Sunday at the Annett Nature Center. There were 30 members present. We discussed the Warren County and State Fair results, as well as, dues were set at $15. A t-shirt committee was set up and upcoming dates were announced.

Today for FFA week, students were encouraged to drive their tractors to school. Tractors left to right, Keetan Lawler, Dylan Deemer, Kaleb Miller, Bryson Ball (with auger wagon), and Dalton Kosman. Not pictured, TJ Williams, due to mechanical problems.
