As we prepare to welcome Bloom Academy's inaugural class, we're excited to introduce another one of the educators who will help shape our very first school year: PJ Burns.

With nearly 34 years of classroom experience, Paula "PJ" Burns brings a wealth of knowledge in literacy, math intervention, and helping every student build confidence as a learner. Her expertise in structured literacy, combined with her warm and encouraging approach, allows her to meet students where they are and help them take the next step forward.

Known for building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, PJ believes every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.

With more than 11 years of classroom experience, Sesily brings expertise in project based learning and literacy instruction, along with a deep belief that every child deserves to be known, challenged, and supported.

Sesily is passionate about helping students become confident readers and writers while creating hands on learning experiences that connect literacy, math, science, social studies, and the real world. Just as important, she believes strong classroom communities are built on trust, curiosity, and meaningful relationships with both students and families.

Sesily's warmth, creativity, and commitment to helping every learner grow make her a wonderful addition to the Bloom Academy team, and we can't wait for our students to learn alongside her this year.
