The University of Kentucky Job Shadow Program is now accepting host site (employer) applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027!

Interested in participating? Submit your host site application by August 15, 2026, to be included in this year's program.

Open your workplace to the next generation of talent by hosting a UK student for a job shadow experience. As a host site, you'll give students a firsthand look at your organization, introduce them to your industry, and help them explore the professional skills and connections that support their career exploration.

Participating in the UK Job Shadow Program is a meaningful way to:

• Engage with talented UK students early in their career journey
• Support career readiness through real-world learning experiences

Applications for the Fall 2026 Experiential Education Scholarship is open!

- Application is open August 3 to August 31 at 5:00pm.

The Experiential Education Scholarship is designed to provide financial support for students seeking participation in an experiential education experience that is unpaid or minimally compensated. This scholarship combines a student's experiential education with professional development resources and is paired with critical reflection to encourage, empower, and inspire students to fully capitalize on their experience. Awards are in amounts of $500 to $1,000. Students must be eligible and experience must be confirmed to be considered for funding. As this is a very competitive scholarship, applicant eligibility does not guarantee selection for an award.
