Thank you, , for the warm welcome back! After many months of renovation and exhibit installation, we're excited to share the stories and traditions of the Chapel with new and returning friends. There's so much to see and explore on your next visit!

The University Chapel is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 am until 5pm. The Chapel remains an active venue for campus and community events. As you make your travel plans, we invite you to visit our website for notices of schedule interruptions. See you soon!

Next week, we'll be joined by Dr. James Welborn of Georgia College & State University for a discussion of his recent publication: Dueling Cultures, Damnable Legacies. At the heart of the story is the dramatic altercation between Preston Smith Brooks and Charles Sumner on the Senate floor in 1856.

Join us for the free program at 5pm on April 9 in the Harte Center, room 119 in Leyburn Library.
