This makes my heart happy!

After witnessing his autistic son Zachary face online bullying, Stuart Duncan refused to accept toxic gaming culture. He took action by building Autcraft, a private Minecraft server designed specifically to provide a calm and respectful environment for children on the spectrum.

The server is strictly moderated to prioritize kindness and reduce sensory stress. What started as a small personal project has blossomed into a global community of over 17,000 members. It serves as a vital sanctuary for those seeking online safety.

Stuart’s initiative proves that one parent's dedication can change thousands of lives. By creating a space focused on understanding and support, he has ensured that autistic children finally have a world where they can play without fear of harassment.

We once had a squirrel 🐿️ go in the front foyer of my school. I called the assistant principal to get it out, but it kept running in circles to where he couldn’t see the squirrel. Then the squirrel hid behind a sign. My AP looked at me like I was making up a story 😂

Goff Elementary School in Moses Lake, Washington, went viral for an unforgettable wildlife scare. On a seemingly normal Tuesday morning, reports of a mountain lion near the school led officials to impose an immediate lockdown to protect students and staff. However, the alleged predator turned out to be something far less dangerous—a fat cat feasting on a rat.

Washington’s diverse landscapes make it a natural home for mountain lions, so the school took no chances when the sighting was reported. As Claren McLaughlin, the school’s communications officer, noted, this was the first report of its kind, and they acted swiftly to ensure everyone’s safety. After confirming the “mountain lion” was just a plump cat, the lockdown was lifted, and classes resumed, leaving the community with a mix of relief and laughter.

Social media couldn’t get enough of the story, with comments ranging from disbelief that an overweight cat could catch a rat to wild jokes about the cat defeating the mountain lion. One parent shared that their kids found the incident hilarious, while another commenter recounted a similar childhood experience where wolves turned out to be a golden retriever.
