RBUMC Preschool Our goal as a Christian preschool is to introduce and nurture the Christian faith in young children and introduce new and fun learning experiences.

Thank you for your interest in RBUMC Preschool Program. We love the community we are located in, and want to use our facilities for God’s plans within Lexington. It is our goal to love God, love others and serve the world.

We did all the Apple things in the toddler room this week! We stamped with apples, sorted apples by color, read about them and even balanced ‘apples’ on our heads. For snack everyday this week we ate apples in various forms.

ALL ABOUT FALL!

We talked about Fall this week and worked on our cutting skills. We made some fall leaves for our bulletin board, made shape scarecrows, and we did a leaf investigation and talked about the different types of leaves and what they looked like. Today we made acorns and worked on our cutting skills and had fun with PLAYDOH!

Last week we played with the parachute and painted leaves with golf balls! They loved both activities!! This week we studied letter B and learned about friendship! We read the rainbow fish and made our own rainbow fish! We had Chapel and learned about Noah’s Ark! We made our part of what will become a friendship quilts with triangle designs! We had a short week but we stayed busy! We talked about a few stories in the bible. We talked about Daniel being thrown in the lions den and God saved him. We talked about Noah’s ark and Gods promises, Joseph’s coat of many colors and more. Mrs. Nichole showed them how to make a rainbow in chapel! 🌈 Have a great weekend! See you all on Monday!

We had an exciting week in 3k. We started the week with a special birthday celebration and got to spend some extra time outside while the weather was a little cooler.
We talked about the letter A, alligator, apple, acorn, arm and apron.
Chapel was with Mrs Nichole and we read about Noah’s Ark. We wondered if Noah had any Anteaters, Aardvarks or Antelopes on his Ark!
This morning we practiced “driving a button” to work on some fine motor skills and learned how to do jumping jacks for gross motor!

This short week was full of fun with the toddlers! We learned about friendships and being a kind friend, the letter B, and Noah’s Ark with Mrs Nichole. We went on a bear hunt in our bear masks with Mrs Shandra!
