As you pray about this school year, don't let fear, convenience, or uncertainty make the decision for you. Ask the Lord for wisdom, trust His leading, and have the courage to follow wherever He calls.

Every family has a story, and we're honored to share this one.

"One morning I was lying in bed crying out to God, asking Him to help me find a school for my children. As I scrolled through different schools, I felt Him say, 'Call.' I didn't think anyone would answer, but they did.

Mrs. Bonnie answered the phone, and what I expected to be a quick conversation became something so much more. I cried, I laughed, and for the first time in a long time, I felt peace. I wasn't judged, I was heard. I knew God had led me to Lakeside.

What stood out most wasn't a program or a building. It was the presence of the Lord. I could hear Him in the conversation, and I knew this was where He was leading our family.

We want our children to know Jesus not only at home but also at school. My prayer is that they grow in wisdom, in confidence, and most importantly, in their relationship with Christ. I want teachers who will see their potential, encourage them, and help them become who God created them to be.

If you're considering Lakeside, come with an open heart. God is doing something special here, and I truly believe you won't leave unchanged."

One of our favorite parts of building Lakeside Christian Academy has been getting to know the incredible families God is bringing together. Help us give a warm Lakeside welcome to the Madron family! Take a moment to read how God faithfully led them to LCA.

"As parents, our deepest desire is to raise our children on the firm foundation of Christ. As our oldest daughter is now at an age where she is beginning to evaluate her own heart and faith, we prayerfully considered the best community and schooling options that would support our desires and her educational and spiritual growth.

We faced logistical concerns that tested our faith, but through prayer, surrender, support, and encouragement from others, we’ve seen God undeniably move and bring us to Lakeside. We are humbled and overjoyed to be joining the LCA family, and we know our family will be incredibly blessed by being part of this community."

We are so excited for the Indovino family to be joining us as a founding family! Their testimony is so encouraging! Take a read:

"As parents, we believe that one of the greatest gifts God has entrusted to us is the privilege of raising our children. More than anything, we want them to know and love Jesus in every part of their lives.

Through the journey of parenthood, God has reinforced to us that our identity is never found in our careers, accomplishments, or even in our roles as parents, but in being His children. Instead, He has taught us to loosen our grip and trust the Lord more deeply. We cannot control every circumstance our children will face, but we can faithfully point them to our Father who is always with them in each season. Our prayer has always been that they would grow to love the Lord with all their heart, and that they would know His truth well enough to stand firm in a world that often tells them otherwise.

That is why Christian education is such an important part of our family’s journey. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” We treasure having partners who reinforce the same biblical truths we strive to teach at home. Knowing our children are surrounded each day by teachers and staff who love Christ and encourage them to pursue truth and wisdom is an incredible blessing. Included in this blessing is the opportunity to encourage each child by meeting them where they are, while challenging them to pursue excellence in a rigorous academic environment that glorifies the Lord.

Our testimony isn’t that following Jesus has made life easy. It’s that through every joy, every challenge, and every unexpected turn, God has been faithful. Our deepest hope is not simply that our children receive an excellent education, but that through that journey, they grow deeper to love the Lord wholeheartedly as they grapple with rigorous academics and shine His light wherever He leads them.

What a faithful and gracious Father we serve!"

Meet Ashton Crews!

We are excited to welcome Ashton Crews to the Lakeside Christian Academy family as our Administrative Assistant!

Ashton has been married for 12 years and is the proud mom of two wonderful children—a 7-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. Their family also includes a fun-loving 3-year-old Labrador who keeps life full of energy and adventure! Outside of work, Ashton enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks and light hikes with her children, traveling, and exploring new places together.

At LCA, Ashton will serve as one of the first friendly faces families see each day. She will support our school community through family relations, accounts receivable, tuition and billing, day-to-day administrative operations, and caring for students in our after-school program. She has a heart for serving others, and we're grateful to have her as part of the team.

Please join us in giving Ashton a warm Lakeside welcome! We are excited to see how God will use her to bless our students, families, and school community.
