UK Program Inspires New Research in Women’s Health UK’s Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health program connected faculty members Mairead Moloney, Christal Badour and Daniela Moga, who collaborated on an intervention study to examine and improve the sleep habits of women with insomnia.

UK Researcher: How Families With Same-Sex Parents Resolve Conflict Has Impact Farr previously reported that children adopted by le***an, gay and heterosexual parents are well-adjusted over time. Her most recent study, co-authored by doctoral students Sam Bruun and Kyle Simon, focuses on these same adopted children but goes a step further.

Ph.D. alum Dr. Lindsey Jasinski and current Ph.D. student Elizabeth Riley are part of new clinic that will serve people with Substance Use Disorders.

New Clinic Will Serve People with Substance Use Disorders The UK Department of Psychiatry has established a new clinic to serve people with substance use disorders. The SMART program offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as well as group and individual therapy to address the needs of patients.

UK Awarded $6 Million from NIH to Study Decision-Making Processes Behind Substance Use Disorders Two R01 grants awarded to UK neuroscientists Joshua Beckmann, Joshua Lile and Michael Wesley will help researchers understand neurobehavioral processes that contribute to addiction.
