For the first time in five years, music-making is happening over the summer for BBVS! July will be FULL of activities for folks of all ages to do some singing.

🎵Not interested in long-term lessons? Sign up for a short-term, no-contract package of 4-week or 5-week long private lessons at a discounted price, both online and in-person! Great for those who need a brush-up or those who just want to learn the basics.
🎵Are you a kid-at-heart but not by age anymore and want to learn how to take care of your aging voice? There's a workshop for that! I'll be teaching an online AND in-person course for that in July! More details to come!
🎵Do you want to know what belting REALLY is? and more importantly, how to do it safely? I'm building a group voice class for that for singers 14+!

❄️Weather Update: Snow Day
Monday, Feb. 2 will be a snow day, with all classes canceled, due to lingering weather and road conditions. Please stay tuned for a decision on after-school and evening activities.

I got out of the house today and witnessed first-hand the road conditions in Lex and they are still far from great. Also, it’s cold. VIRTUAL LESSONS WEDNESDAY!!! Wednesday folks, email forthcoming with info!

VIRTUAL LESSONS TOMORROW!! Monday, January 26. Students may also opt out of their lessons and have a true “snow day” but no make up will be offered in that instance. I’ll reach out to folks today about lesson set up!

Notice: NTI Day & Building Closures
Please be advised that Monday, Jan.26, will be a Nontraditional Instruction (NTI) Day for all FCPS students.

Important Details:

Instruction: Students should follow specific guidance and expectations provided by their individual schools.

Closures: All district and school buildings will be closed.

Activities: All afternoon and evening activities have been canceled.

We encourage families to check school-specific communications for further instruction.

Well, that was fast! BBVS is completely full for Spring 26 in record time of 3 days. Thank you to all families - new and returning - for continuing to remind me why I do what I do and for the support!
