The Bryan Station High School Chamber Orchestra is an extraordinary ensemble representing the highest level of orchestral performance within the Bryan Station program. Composed of the school’s most advanced auditioned musicians, this ensemble has achieved remarkable success both individually and collectively throughout the year. Students in this group have earned outstanding honors through KMEA Solo & Ensemble, All-State ensembles, District Honors Orchestra, CKYO, and numerous community performance opportunities. Beyond their musical accomplishments, these students exemplify leadership, excellence, and a deep commitment to the performing arts both within their school and throughout the greater community. This ensemble was the only high school orchestra in the state invited to perform at the KMEA Conference this past February.
At the Acclaim Music Festival, the Bryan Station High School Chamber Orchestra earned SUPERIOR ratings from both judges and was named the GRAND CHAMPION ENSEMBLE of the entire festival. Judges were captivated by the ensemble’s mature tone, beautiful phrasing, dynamic contrast, and beautifully blended sound, creating a performance that was both technically exceptional and deeply moving. One judge described the performance as heartfelt enough to bring listeners to tears, while another enthusiastically praised the orchestra’s tone, musicality, and expressive artistry. This extraordinary achievement is a testament to the exceptional talent, dedication, and artistry of these outstanding young musicians.

The AVID Juniors at Bryan Station High School are making MAJOR MOVES!
These students have been part of the AVID College Prep Program since their freshman year, and now in the program’s third year, the results are speaking for themselves. Our juniors are already earning scholarships from colleges and community organizations because of their hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to their futures.
We are incredibly proud of this group of students and thankful for a program that continues to produce opportunities, success, and college-ready leaders at Bryan Station. The future is bright! 💙💛

The College and Career Center recently hosted the Junior College Countdown featuring Kevin Lamb, Associate Dean of Admission and Financial Aid/Director of Financial Aid, along with Natasha Ramsey, Executive Director of the Bluegrass Scholars Program.
Students received valuable information on the financial aid process, FAFSA, understanding the SAI, scholarships, timelines, and community programs that partner with schools to support students through the college application journey.
Our Defenders are gearing up for a big year, and the College and Career Center is here to help every step of the way!

Yesterday, we handed out over 200 awards to our incredible freshman class! From celebrating major academic milestones like the "Highest Overall Average in Advanced English" to honoring the moments that make our community special (shoutout to our "Most Likely to Share Food in Class" winner), we couldn't be prouder of this group.
While we are going to miss having them all together as they head off to their respective academies next year, we know they are going to do big things. Thank you for an amazing year, Class of 2029! The future looks bright.
