قُلْ إِن كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَالٌ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَجِهَادٍ فِي سَبِيلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصُوا حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ اللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

Message from an hostage to soldiers before she was released with her daughter as posted by Hamas. She is alive and well and she can deny it, but I don't think she will as the world can see how healthy and well all the hostages were released. The opposite on the side, all hostages complaint about being beaten, starved and cursed all the time especially after the war began.

For your extraordinary humanity that you have shown towards my daughter Emilia. You were like parents to her; you invited her into your rooms whenever she wanted. She acknowledges the feeling that you all are her friends, not just friends but true, kind loved ones.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the many hours you spent being like a caregiver to her. Thank you for being patient with her and showering her with sweets, fruits, and everything available even when it wasn't easy. Children shouldn't be in war zones, but thanks to you and other kind people we met along the way,

My daughter considered herself a queen in Gaza, and generally feels like the center of the world. We haven't met anyone on our long journey from any faction or even the leadership who didn't behave towards her with kindness, tenderness, and love.

I will forever be imprisoned by gratitude because she didn't come out of this with everlasting psychological trauma. I will remember your kind behavior shown here despite the difficult situation you were dealing with yourselves, And the heavy losses that have affected you here in Gaza.

I wish that in this world, we could all appreciate being truly kind friends. I wish you all health and well-being, health and love to you and your families.
