🍃 Calm Drum Club Begins This August! 🍃

Honestly, I think August is the perfect time.

As children head back to school with new routines, new classrooms, and all the excitement (and sometimes overwhelm) that comes with a new school year, I wanted to create a space where they can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and simply breathe.

Calm Drum Club is a 75-minute drop-off adventure for children ages 5–9, where storytelling, imagination, gentle movement, mindful listening, and the beautiful sounds of steel tongue drums come together to create a truly unique experience.

🥁 Every child receives their own steel tongue drum to take home and keep, giving them a calming tool they can continue using long after our adventure together.

Each month will feature a completely new theme and story, so there’s no need to attend every session. Families can join one adventure or come back month after month—each Calm Drum Club is designed as its own magical experience.

✨ The first adventure begins Sunday, August 16.

🎶 90s KIDS, ASSEMBLE! 📼✨

This week at Little Magic Music, we’re throwing it ALL the way back to the 90s — when the music was loud, the colors were bright, and toy instruments were basically our entire personality. 😂

Your little musician may not know what a Walkman is… but they’re about to find out why 90s music was SO much fun. 🎤🥁🌈

We’ll be playing, dancing, singing, exploring instruments, and making some totally rad musical memories together.

And THIS little face? 🥹 That’s the magic.
No pressure. No “right” way to play. Just a child completely absorbed in making music. ❤️

💛 Thursday & Saturday – Wellness Creative
These classes take place in the cozy cave and are intentionally kept very small with only 6 spots per class, creating a calm, intimate environment where every child is truly seen, supported, and encouraged through music and play.

🩵 Friday – Eastside Branch Library
Friday’s classes are held upstairs in the Medium Meeting Room and have 12 spots available, making them perfect for little ones who love a bit more room to move while still enjoying a warm, engaging musical experience.

Whether your family prefers the intimacy of a tiny class or the energy of a slightly larger group, there’s a place for you this week!

✨ Why do I intentionally limit my classes held at Wellness Creative to just six children?

Because the magic happens in the moments that can’t be rushed.

In The Cozy Cave at Wellness Creative, there isn’t a crowd to keep up with. There is space to pause, connect, wonder, and truly make music together.

I get to notice the child who quietly joins in for the very first time.

I get to encourage the little one who needs just a bit more confidence.

I get to celebrate each child’s unique way of learning, growing, and expressing themselves through music.

These aren’t just music classes.

They’re tiny, relationship-centered experiences where children are seen, heard, and encouraged every single week.

That feeling is exactly why I intentionally keep my Wellness Creative classes incredibly small.

When there are only six little musicians in the room, I notice the child who needs a little extra encouragement before joining in. I celebrate the child who finally sings out loud for the first time. I remember what fascinated your child last week and build on it this week.

Time for conversation.

Time for each child to truly participate instead of simply watching.

These classes aren’t designed to entertain a crowd.
