Surfing, fishing, exploring history, and plenty of moments in between. 🌊🎣

Our 7th graders made the most of their time in South Carolina, learning beyond the classroom. Trips like these are about more than where we go, they’re about building independence, strengthening friendships, and making memories that will last long after they return to TLS. 💚

From Lexington to Denmark... and beyond! 🌎🎨

We’re so proud of several of our 4th grade artists whose prints were selected for The International Printmaking Triennale Exhibition for Kids in Odense, Denmark!

Created last year during a special printmaking workshop with UK professor, Jonathan McFadden, their artwork is now part of an international exhibition inspired by the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen. And the journey isn’t over! The exhibition is scheduled to travel next to Bursa, Turkey, with plans to continue on to Xiamen, China!

What an incredible way for our C**ts’ creativity and imagination to travel the world. 💚

Today, we celebrate 67 years of The Lexington School and honor the life and legacy of the remarkable woman who started it all, Josephine Abercrombie, our beloved Ms. A. On Founders’ Day, we return to her own words about why she founded The Lexington School in 1959.

Ms. A created far more than a school. She created a place where children would be known, challenged, inspired, and given the courage to become something more. Her vision vision lives on in every classroom, every C**t, and every generation that calls TLS home.

Happy Founders’ Day, TLS. 💚
