The mission of the Center for Creative Art Teaching is to highlight the practices of progressive and innovative art educators across the county and abroad.

Founded by artist-teachers Dr. George Szekely and Dr. Ilona Szekely the center serves professional gathering of art teachers, including school and state wide in-service workshops. Professor George and Ilona Szekely are available to do creative performance style presentations for regional and national conventions, as well as university sponsored assemblies for future art teachers.
