Our research focuses on the population ecology and conservation biology of vertebrates.
We're a research lab in the University of Kentucky's College of Agriculture (Forestry and Natural Resources) focused mainly on the population ecology and conservation biology of reptiles and amphibians in Kentucky. Most of our work centers on reptiles and amphibians, groups that are experiencing severe and unprecedented population declines. We are focused on several areas of research: 1) examining

This week is Desmog Week! In Kentucky, we have 5 species of Desmognathus salamanders. These salamanders are lungless and typically found in or around streams.
