The Multilingual Robotics Club is Back!

Is your child an FCPS English Learner (EL) in grades 2–8 who enjoys building, technology, problem-solving, and having fun?

The Multilingual Robotics Club is a FREE opportunity for FCPS EL students to explore STEM, robotics, teamwork, and language development while working with Sphero robots!

Who can participate?
-FCPS English Learners in grades 2–8
-Students interested in robotics, technology, and problem-solving
-Limited spots available

🤖 Grades 2–5: Tuesdays, 4:00–5:30 p.m.
🤖 Grades 6–8: Thursdays, 5:00–6:30 p.m.

Students will participate in hands-on robotics activities and challenges while developing collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. They will also have the opportunity to work toward participation in a virtual Sphero robotics competition.

Dinner is provided!

Free Adult English Classes – Now Open for FCPS Families!

Are you an FCPS parent or caregiver with a child currently receiving English support at school? Join our free Adult English classes!

✅ Open to any FCPS parent/caregiver whose child is receiving English Learner services
✅ Free of charge
✅ Starts September 16th – runs for 10 weeks
✅ Wednesdays: Beginner (4:30–5:30 PM) | Intermediate (6:00–7:00 PM)
✅ Also offered again in the spring!

To join, you'll first need to take a short assessment so we can place you in the right level.

A Little Late, but Definitely Worth Sharing!

During the summer, our department had the honor of hosting a Summer Day Camp at Life Adventure Center, and our students had an amazing time!

From exploring nature (with a little hiking along the way), to showing off their incredible teamwork skills, riding horses, and even trying their hand at rock climbing, our students embraced every adventure and made wonderful memories along the way.

We are so happy we had the opportunity to provide our multilingual students with this experience-a day full of adventure, learning, friendship, and fun!

Join us this summer for an incredible opportunity designed especially for our FCPS Middle and High School English Learner (EL) Students!

As part of this experience, students will have the chance to visit colleges beyond the local area, with the goal of broadening their perspectives, inspiring them to dream bigger, and helping them make informed decisions!

Through guided campus tours, interactive activities, and meaningful conversations, students will gain firsthand insight into college life, academic programs, and career pathways.

Tuesday, June 16th - Kentucky State University.
Thursday, June 18th - Northern Kentucky University.
Wednesday, June 24th - Berea College.

Parents, this is a valuable opportunity for your student to explore new possibilities, build motivation, and see themselves in spaces they may have never imagined before.
