Fayette County 4-H The 4-H/Youth Development program creates opportunities and supportive environments for youth and adults to become capable, competent and caring citizens.

We are so grateful for our community that continues to support the Fayette County 4-H & FFA Livestock and Country Ham Showcase Sale year after year! 💙💚

We are incredibly proud of our youth and the hard work, dedication, and time they put into their livestock and country ham projects. To all of our buyers, sponsors, and supporters, we appreciate you investing in our youth and helping make this event possible.

We were also glad to have Jefferson Oldfield, Kentucky 4-H State Vice President, join us and speak about 4-H, agriculture and All In for Ag Week.

And a big thank you to Bluegrass Stockyards for allowing us to use their facility as our venue and helping make the sale possible.

Livestock & Country Ham Showcase Sale
September 24, 2026

Location: Bluegrass Stockyards
Dinner: 6:00 PM | Sale: 7:00

Join us for an evening highlighting the hard work of local youth involved in agriculture. The Livestock & Country Ham Showcase supports 4-H and FFA members by featuring their livestock and ham projects for sale.

This is a great opportunity to support youth, invest in local agriculture, and enjoy a community meal.

A donation letter is available for businesses and individuals who would like to help purchase projects or make a contribution.

This past weekend, Fayette County 4-H had three youth participate in the State 4-H Shooting Sports Event in Wilmore, Kentucky. All three competed in the Bare Compound Archery class.

We are so proud of these youth for stepping up to compete at the state level, showcasing their skills, gaining new experience, and most importantly, having a fun time along the way!

A big thank you to our coach & coordinator for giving their time throughout the summer to lead practices and help these youth prepare for the event. We appreciate all the time and effort you put into helping our 4-H’ers develop their skills.

Shooting Sports sign-ups will begin again around the beginning of 2027 for anyone interested in participating!
