Jesus Christ is Lord and in surrender, we will find true joy || “You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalm 16:11
——
“The message of the Bible is clear: Jesus Christ is Lord! It’s a fact. Bringing our lives into submission to His will in everything is the key to being a godly woman. It’s also the path to joy.”

Quote from the book, “Disciplines of a Godly Woman”, by Barbara Hughes

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

“For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10

Sorrow that leads to Jesus: Godly sorrow leads to healing—not just a heart change but a life saved! When sorrow over sin leads us to Jesus, we find forgiveness, not judgment. Jesus took our place, bore our shame, and rose so we could live 🙌

Surrender to Jesus today. Today is the day of salvation and a new beginning.

A great reminder for the heart! “Now He told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up.” Luke 18:1

Give thanks to the Lord — because He is faithful. “Let them give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and His wondrous works for all humanity. For He has satisfied the thirsty and filled the hungry with good things.” Psalm 107:8–9

“Blessed are you who are now hungry, because you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, because you will laugh.” Luke 6:21

All we will ever need is found in Jesus. This world leaves us longing, dry and empty. But Jesus satisfies 🙌

Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). He took the punishment we deserved and died on the cross — not because we earned it, but because of God’s deep, undeserved grace (John 3:16–18).

Turn from your own ways. Believe in the Lord Jesus. Ask for forgiveness. Be baptized into Christ (Acts 2:38)

He’s waiting for you with open arms — not with shame, but with love that never fails.

Come to Him. Be filled. Be made new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

What are you holding onto that just is not working or worse, leading you on a path leading you to sin? Now is the time-the day for change! Trust in the Lord for courage to move on and begin following His ways (repentance). The Bible tells us that our confidence can be found in the Lord 🙌 “I have instructed you today—even you—so that your confidence may be in the Lord.” Proverbs 22:19

04/30/2025

“From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” Matthew 4:17

Remember and Praise God everyday for His Grace gift of Salvation! “When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of His grace He made us right in His sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” Titus 3:4-7

“Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”

And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.” Matthew 28:1-9
