JustFundKY has created an endowment to fund the many good efforts in Kentucky to eradicate discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender (LGBT) community.

Justice Center for All Peoples (All Peoples UU) was awarded one of our 2026 grants. They will utilize these funds for an interfaith network designed to support our trans community in Jefferson County. The justice center provides efforts such as: education, training, networking, advocacy and community organizing.

Institute 193 in downtown Lexington received one of our 2026 Cliff Todd grants for an LGBTQ+ poetry series. Institute 193 partners with local creators to express the story of the modern south. You can visit their space on 215 N Limestone in Lexington, KY.

We had a blast at Last WednesGays yesterday hanging out with our amazing LGBTQ+ community, & handing out invites to Obsidian Ball: A Masquerade (happening on 10.23)
Last WednesGays is a monthly LGBTQ+ networking happy hour benefiting AVOL Kentucky. They hit up a new spot every month, follow them to find out where they will be next.

Henderson KY Pride Inc. was able to use their 2026 grant from JustFundKY to aid in festival expenses for this year’s Pride Festival. People showed up in droves to support & have a blast with their fellow community members. They had expansive drag talent including Jaida Essence Hall from RuPaul’s Drag Race. If you missed this year- you’ll want to make plans to be there in 2027. Follow them to stay up to date!

JustFundKY was able to provide a grant to Glasgow Pride for their annual Pride Festival. They had a day of celebration and *joy*. But the best part about Glasgow Pride has to be that they take a group photo every year to see how attendance has grown. Main photo shows snippet of the crowd, scroll over to see the full group photo and some other prideful moments from this year’s festival. 🏳️‍⚧️💫🏳️‍🌈

Faulkner Morgan Archive received a JustFundKY grant to create a new exhibit panel expanding Kentucky's LGBTQ+ history, building on the success of its acclaimed Q***r, Here, & Everywhere traveling exhibition. The Archive has already introduced audiences across the Commonwealth to powerful stories through panels highlighting pivotal moments, organizations, and individuals in LGBTQ+ history, and this new addition will continue that work by preserving and sharing stories that deserve to be seen, remembered, and celebrated for generations to come.

The Clark County Equity Coalition is a grassroots nonprofit based in Wi******er, Kentucky that works to promote equity, belonging, and meaningful educational opportunities for all children. Their 2026 JustFundKY grant will be used to further outreach into rural areas.

Through our annual Cliff Todd grants we were able to help support The Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning in their 'Q***r Literary Hoedown' event. This is a free annual literary celebration in Lexington, Kentucky. It brings together LGBTQ+ writers, readers, and allies for an evening centered on q***r storytelling, community, and Kentucky literature.
