Do you want to hone your writing skills? Come on down to Hindman for the Ironwood Writers' Studio! Ironwood will be a week-long event where high school students will come stay on our historic campus, study with published writers, develop their own skills and passion, and build a writing community of their peers. We will take the format of the Appalachian Writers’ Workshop and adapt it for the particular needs and personality of our youth✍️🙋🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Kentucky Performing Arts has announced that our statewide arts education program for high school students, the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA), recently received supplemental funding from the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) that will allow the program to double in size.
