The latest K-SURE brief examines trends in six major overdose-related substances and general drug overdose-related events across the Commonwealth from 2020–2025.

While Kentucky saw a 44.3% decrease in drug overdose-related deaths over the period, other measures varied by substance, highlighting the importance of continued data monitoring.
