🌟 Interview Prep 🌟

This summer has been filled with Interview Prep sessions. I love working with students one-on-one and helping them recognize all their strengths and how to highlight them. It’s all about being confident!

Students spend countless hours studying for tests, but how often do they have the chance to prepare for an interview?

Here are a few tips to prepare for an interview. Planning and practicing are key!

It’s Wedding Season! For the brides, you make your wedding exactly how you want it to be, but communication with your family and friends will help it to go smoothly.

And friendly reminder, handwritten thank you notes mean so much! Send them after receiving gifts.

The Value of RSVP

Although this video highlights spring events in Kentucky, the message is relevant for any invitation at any time. If you receive an invitation asking if you can attend the event (i.e., asking for your RSVP), please reply promptly.

Do you know what RSVP stands for? It’s an abbreviation for Répondez s’il vous plaît in French, which translates to Please respond.

Also, shoutout to my highly talented friend, ! That is her original artwork in the background!

🌟 The Value of 7 seconds 🌟

According to a 2017 Study of Communications by Harvard University, people judge others within 7 seconds. You have 7 seconds to grab someone’s attention and make an impact!

Here are some tips to ensure you make a positive first impression:

🌟 Be on time.

🌟 Put your cell phone away.

🌟 Stand up straight with good posture.

🌟 Maintain clear eye contact.

🌟 Smile!

Go Be Great! Reach out to me if I can help you with your next etiquette question.
