Congratulations to our 2026 8th Grade Class! 🎓
We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the positive impact they have made on our school community. As a lasting gift, they created a beautiful legacy mural in our atrium that will inspire students for years to come.
We wish them all the best as they begin their next chapter. ❤️

Redwood 8th graders spent the day at Camp Nelson National Monument, learning about the site’s important role in the Civil War, particularly as a refugee and enlistment center for formerly enslaved people freed by the Emancipation Proclamation.
Redwood strives to provide opportunities for students to connect the history of the region they live in with what they are studying in social studies, making learning more meaningful and memorable. Thank you Camp Nelson National Monument for having us!!

Thank you to Henry Clay High School‘s Art and Pottery teacher, Amanda Christensen, and the Pottery Club students for their amazing work!
Drawings were sent to Henry Clay High School pottery students, who were learning how to make a 3-D form from a 2-D drawing and description. Redwood students provided the drawing and description for the High School students to work off of. We always appreciate seeing this exchange happen annually and are looking forward to next year!

Redwood had an amazing middle school trip to Washington, D.C.! Visiting the National Archives, a tour of the Capitol building, and a full day of learning at the Ford’s Theater made for an amazing trip. We explored incredible museums like the Air and Space Museum and the Museum of the American Indian, and had a blast discovering DC with friends, teachers and family chaperones. 🇺🇸
