Howdy Lions! 🤠

What a ROARing start to the 2026–2027 school year!

From Meet & Greet to the first day of school, we’ve loved welcoming our newest little Lions in 4K and Kindergarten, reconnecting with our returning Lions, and watching our school come alive again. There have been smiles, high-fives, happy tears, and lots of excitement as we’ve officially saddled up for success! 🤠

A big YEE-HAW to our amazing Meet & Greet vendors who helped make the evening extra special for our families! Thank you to Death Before Decaf Moe's Southwest Grill Pelican's SnoBalls Lexington and Palmetto Air Conditioning for providing coffee, dinner, dessert, and a cool place to chill. We are so grateful for your support of our Lions! 💛

And we can’t forget our incredible PTA! Thank you for kicking off the year by treating our staff to breakfast during professional development, bringing us some awesome new spirit wear, and providing refreshments for our 4K and Kindergarten families during Boo Hoo Yahoo! 🥹🤠

We’re just getting started, Lions! Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, friendship, and plenty of reasons to ROAR!

We are so incredibly thrilled to welcome Ms. Justin Gause to the NPE family this year! As a Specialized Itinerant Support (SIS) Instructional Assistant with the Lexington One Special Services Department. Ms. Gause is assigned to work alongside our Special Education teachers, instructional assistants, and school staff to help manage students' behavioral, social, coping, and emotional needs. Having already worked with her for a few days, it is instantly clear that she loves what she does and has a huge heart for children. 🍎
