Las Vegas Raiders rookie QB Fernando Mendoza is launching a new social series called “Finance with Fernando,” aimed at helping Gen Z better understand money and personal finance.

“My true passion is fiscal responsibility,” Mendoza said in the trailer.

Mendoza graduated from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, has worked internships in commercial real estate and investing, and has previously spoken about the importance of budgeting, taxes and long-term financial planning for young athletes.

📚🔔 From Books to the Bell! 🔔📚

Global Children Financial Literacy Foundation was honored to support YWLS Staten Island scholars as they closed out their financial literacy journey at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square.

GCFLF donated the financial literacy books that grounded this program — and we’re thrilled to gift each scholar a share of QQQ, giving them real ownership as they step into their financial futures.

The day included a guided MarketSite tour, a final training session, and an intimate Q&A, ending with scholars closing their virtual market positions and ringing the Closing Bell together.

Grateful to our partners in this work: YWLS Staten Island for hosting, Diapers 2 Deposits for delivering top-notch instruction alongside the Student Leadership Network, and IDAC for sponsoring the trip.

• Four youth participants will each receive $500 to invest in the stock market, the raffle drawing is at 12:00 PM
